Ann Peaslee, Founder and Client/Tutor Coordinator/Past President of P.R.E.P. started the company in 2002. Being a teacher in an area school district for many years, she noticed that many children would benefit from tutoring. After 33 years in the profession, Ann retired & started a tutoring program for students. Serving Lehigh Valley, PA & surrounding areas.

Ann realized that convenience for the parents, security & family surroundings for the child, meant that In-Home tutoring was the way to go. Ann also saw a need for adult tutoring & added new programs to accommodate the adults. Ann started with only a few tutors in 2002, & today has a staff of over 40 certified, experienced teachers.

Why Hire a PREP Tutor?

• Certified Trained Teachers - Experienced teachers provide academic tutoring in your home.
• One-on-one Individualized Tutoring - Tutors work one-on-one with students to provide customized academic services.
• Academic Improvement - Tutors work with students on setting goals, learning strategies, skills, & improving grades.
• Convenience - The tutoring hours can be tailored to your family’s schedule.
• Flexible Contract -You can schedule as many tutoring sessions as you want (minimum of four, one-hour sessions) for most subjects & tests.

A recent study determined that similar reading & math skills are required to pass first year college courses. These skills are also needed to succeed in entry level family wage jobs, such as; electrician, construction worker, & plumber. Students who truly try, but receive only basic & below basic scores on assessments, need to receive dynamic remediation immediately.
